Michael Williams, D.M.D., is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, the top dental school in the nation. Upon graduation, Dr. Williams received the prestigious “American Academy of Periodontology Award for Excellence in Periodontology.” He was one of only 64 students nationally to receive this special recognition.
He then went on to complete a 3-year residency at the University of Connecticut graduate school, with primary focus in advanced dental implant and grafting procedures. In 2003, he received his certification as a specialist in Periodontology. Continuing his education, he became a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in December of 2004. This is the highest recognition offered in periodontics.

My hygienist Sheila greeted me at the scheduled time and is always friendly and professional and welcoming. Reviews any possible changes with my teeth, etc as well as meds. Explains clearly as she examines and what she is doing and seeing. Coordinates future appointments with my general Dentist Dr. Butz in Williamstown. Very satisfied with her work and professionalism.
